I am seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join my supply team, to work with my lovely primary schools in the Doncaster area. This role is ideal for a flexible and adaptable individual with a passion for education and the ability to support teachers and students effectively.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring continuity of education for students.
  • Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
  • Providing support to individual students, small groups, and whole classes under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Contributing to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Adapting to different educational settings and age groups, maintaining a high standard of professional conduct.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working within a primary school environment.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and classroom management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various educational settings.
  • A commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to learning.
