Randstad are currently working on Permanent Social Work opportunities for a Local Authority based in Doncaster. The Local Authority is looking for motivated and dedicated Social Workers to join their Adult Locality Team. The team consists of enthusiastic Social Workers and Social Care Assessors with a focus to provide a personalised, strength based service to residents over the age of 18 with various needs.

You can expect a fantastic salary of between £31,372 - £41,438, DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing own complex caseload.
  • The team works with Adults aged 18 and above undertaking a wide range of duties under the Care Act 2014 from assessment, reviews, mental capacity assessments and adult safeguarding.
  • Undertaking assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
  • Working in partnership with service users and carers, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.

Requirements for the Social Work role:

  • 1+ years experience of working within a similar adult setting
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Social Work England registration
