Job Title: Project Delivery Director
Location: South Coast
Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits
Sector: Modular (MMC)

  • Are you a Project Delivery Director with experience within the construction/offsite industry?

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering multi-storey property development or medium level customer facing construction projects and will be responsible for driving projects from cradle to grave.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of modular property development projects from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals are achieved within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Deliver each Project to Program and on Budget, focusing on detailed planning and understanding design, procurement and delivery
  • Champion, lead and propel the delivery of projects by maximising offsite (in factory) activities as a way controlling risk, cost, quality, budget, and programme
  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders: Design, Factory, Procurement and site build works
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders
  • Direct project progress, identify and manage risks, and develop mitigation plans as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project teams
  • Develop and implement project management processes, procedures, and tools to support effective project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Manage and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Conduct project reviews and provide feedback to continuously improve project delivery processes and procedures

  • Substantial experience of complex capital or development projects involving manufacturing and on-site works
  • High intellect, self-reliant, practical and first principles engineer
  • Extensive programme and budget management experience
  • Ability to implement Continuous Improvement Strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of health & safety best practice
