Are you an experienced electrical engineer ready to lead innovative solutions for maritime systems?

Join our dynamic team at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK (AEUK) as a Senior Field Service Engineer (FSE) Electrical. You'll support AEUK products, focusing on maintenance, testing, fault finding, and repairs for submarine and surface ship systems worldwide. This role is critical for ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

As a Senior FSE Electrical, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing in-service equipment, deploying to customer locations at short notice, and providing technical expertise. You'll collaborate closely with our Operations Lead and team members to deliver exceptional service, ensuring systems are operational and meeting stringent requirements. Your role will involve field service support, equipment surveys and repairs, and writing detailed technical reports.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Field Service Support worldwide.
  • Survey and repair of AEUK products at AEUK premises.
  • Deploying for system grooms, equipment integration, and trials.
  • Writing technical reports and identifying equipment trends.
  • Secondment into other departments for product knowledge development.
  • Supporting equipment trials onsite and worldwide.

What does our target candidate look like?

  • HND/HNC or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in maritime environments and working with electromechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with Mechanical/Electrical Diagrams.
  • Willingness to deploy with minimal notice and preferably previous Royal Navy / MoD experience.
  • Fibre and Copper cable repair experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to write technical reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
