About the role:

Behaviour Mentor in Secondary School - Dorking

It is a wonderful opportunity for a strong, hardworking individual with a great deal of resilience who has experience working with young people in a variety of settings. A minimum of one year's experience as a behaviour mentor or a similar role is required for you to be considered for this role. It will be your responsibility as a Behaviour Mentor to work at a secondary school to support children who suffer from challenging behaviour and provide them with the support that they need. There will be times when you will be working on a 1:1 basis, but also when you will be working in smaller groups in class and out of it. In your role as a Behaviour Mentor, you will oversee working with a variety of children with different needs, such as ADHD, SEMH, SEN, along with challenging behaviours. It is essential that the ideal Behaviour Mentor is quick n their feet and pro active ready for any complex situations. It would be advantageous if you had experience with Team-Tech and physical handling training.
