Company Overview:
Our client is a leading contractor specialising in the installation of fire doors in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. We are committed to delivering high-quality service and ensuring the utmost safety and compliance with all fire safety regulations.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee the installation of fire doors at various project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring that all installations meet stringent safety standards and are completed on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

    • Oversee and manage all on-site activities related to the installation of fire doors.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
    • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and lead the site team, including subcontractors and laborers.
    • Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
    • Provide training and support to the team as needed.
  • Health & Safety:

    • Implement and enforce health and safety procedures on site.
    • Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks with the team.
    • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in construction, preferably with a focus on fire door installation.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
  • Valid CSCS card or equivalent safety certification.
  • First aid certification is an advantage.
