StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 2 Driver based in Burton upon Trent.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified Class 2 driver with a valid license, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration for the Class 2 driver position in Burton upon Trent:
Monday to Friday AM - £15.50 PAYE
Monday to Friday AM - £17.48 Assignment Rate
*Please note above rates include optional upfront holiday payment*
Responsibilities for the Class 2 driver in Burton upon Trent include:
- This will involve deliveries to depots aswell as store fronts.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the load is secured in a safe manner.
- 5 – 6 drops per shift on average and drivers will be responsible for manually unloading the vehicle and delivering into the stores.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Start time is between 05:00 and 07:00 each morning
- Average around 9-10 hour shifts.
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
- Class 2 driver UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 2 years)
- Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Experience driving container loaded trailers
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Great communication skills
- Professional attitude
