Job Title: Sales Administrator

Position Overview: We are looking to recruit a dedicated and efficient Sales Administrator to join their team in Droitwich. The Sales Administrator will provide vital support to the sales department, ensuring streamlined administrative processes and exceptional customer service to clients. This is an immediate start with interview slots already booked! Previous experience as an administrator is beneficial, not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team in managing client accounts, processing orders, and handling inquiries.
    • Prepare and distribute sales quotations, proposals, and contracts to clients in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  1. Client Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
    • Provide product information, pricing details, and other relevant information to clients as requested.
  1. Order Processing:
    • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, entering details into the company's system and generating order confirmations.
    • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to clients, ensuring their expectations are met.
    • Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange shipment and delivery of orders to clients.
  1. Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales transactions, client interactions, and other relevant information in the company's CRM system.
    • Generate sales reports and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Assist in forecasting sales projections and tracking sales performance against targets.
  1. Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations.
    • Assist in the preparation and organization of sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
    • Handle other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the sales manager or senior leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Some experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional qualifications in business administration, sales, or a related field preferred but not essential.
