Your new companyThis very successful firm of accountants, based in Somerset has developed a strong reputation for delivering quality services, along with building strong relationships with its wide ranging client bases, across varying industries and size of client. The firm offers a very supportive and team focused environment, reflected by a low staff turnover and long serving staff within a close knit, long serving team.Your new roleJoining as Bookkeeper, based in their Somerset offices, you will carve a key, hands on role here, as you develop within this firm and environment. Acting for varied sole trader, partnership and limited company SME's and OMB's of varying size and industry sector, you will deliver and manage the provision of bookkeeping to a high volume client portfolio. You will process payroll in addition, prepare and review VAT returns and be confident dealing directly with clients building relationships and providing a quality service. You will have the potential to carve a key role here working on Xero/Cloud accounting services. Clients are varied across restaurants, pubs, services, manufacturing and other industries ranging from under the VAT threshold in turnover, up into the £millions of turnover on larger clients.What you'll need to succeedA solid, relevant, experienced background is the only qualification that matters, regardless of whether you are an AAT student or have earned an AAT certification. You will have at least two to three years' worth of experience working in an accounting firm, or you may be a senior bookkeeper who works for yourself but is looking for a stable job. You will join this team of experts and provide bookkeeping services to a diverse clientele. In addition to offering a high-quality bookkeeping service, the team also offers Xero and cloud accounting software advice.
