About Us: We are partnering with a pioneering EdTech company at the forefront of the Vocational Learning and Apprenticeship sector.Role Overview: We are on the hunt for an experienced Head of Business Development to lead our sales efforts. This pivotal role involves managing and coaching a team of 2 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) while also actively contributing to sales as a player leader. Your focus will be on targeting and converting enterprise customers of significant size, with an annual target of 2-4 conversions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 2 SDRs, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
  • Own and achieve individual sales targets as a player leader.
  • Identify, target, and convert enterprise customers within the Vocational Training sector.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to enhance the sales capabilities of your team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Maintain and expand a robust pipeline of prospective clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership, selling to the Vocational Training sector (EdTech, awarding bodies, membership organizations, EPA, or recruitment).
  • Strong track record of successfully targeting and converting enterprise-level customers.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a focus on team performance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary £65000 - £85000 + Bonus
  • 25 days leave + bank holidays
  • Home/Remote working & flexible working - 1 day a week in Bristol
  • 5% Pension scheme
