Children Looked After - Team Manager

Somerset County Council are looking to expand their current team. The Children Looked After team is looking for a Team Manager to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a supportive team our client also offers a competitive salary, opportunities for training to enhance your skills and potential progression within your team. This Children Looked After Team Manager role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Children Looked After Team Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • You will be responsible for quality assurance
  • Gate keeping reports
  • Providing frontline supervision to social workers
  • Attending court when needed
  • Oversight of court work, adoption work, and CLA children.
  • Reporting directly to the OM
  • Attending management meetings

Requirements / Experience preferred:

  • HCPC Registration
  • 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
