A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Automation Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Somerset Area!
With no day ever being the same the Automation Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and development of PLC Systems and SCADA Systems.
- Maintaining current functioning control systems.
- Enhance the SCADA system by creating Dot Net, ActiveX and .dll programs
- System updates and firmware updates.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Good working knowledge of IT networking - NAT, ACL's
- Conversant with Rockwell control Logix plc's and SCADA Systems
- Experience in Windows programming
- Knowledge of VMWare vSphere virtualization
