We are recruitng on behalf of our client at the forefront of the waste-to-energy industry, dedicated to transforming waste into sustainable energy.

They are looking for a skilled contract Coded MIG / TIG Plater to join their team

We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Plater to support our manufacturing and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and plating, with specific expertise in both MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding to fabricate and repair metal components used in waste-to-energy systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure welding and plating meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a MIG/TIG Plater or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with a strong understanding of welding principles and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding and fabrication.
  • Certification in welding (preferred but not required).

All workers must have full safety Passport and confined spaces level 2
