What will you be doing?

We are excited to be recruiting for a Financial Controller to manage the day to day running of the Accounts Department. This is a varied roll where you will be completing activities such as processing payroll, Managing and forecasting cash flow alongsidede overseeing the broader financial responsibilities to aide effective decision making.

You will manage an Accounts Assistant, who will support you with cash activities, audit control duties, petty cash transactions, month end tasks such as bank reconciliations, administrative tasks, supporting ad hoc projects, as well as participating in stock control tasks.

The successful candidate will ideally be AAT or HOSPA qualified or have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior Finance role, have excellent communication and people skills, have proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and have Sage experience. Having previous experience in a hospitality setting would be ideal but this is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hard-working Financial Controller ready to hit the ground running by joining a busy, fast paced, and friendly team. Forbes of Kingennie is a dynamic and expanding business, the ideal candidate will also have experience in financial management of projects and an ability to manage the fast-moving pace of these projects.
