Overview:

You’ll gain hands-on office experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, organised, and keen to develop practical skills in a busy business environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions by using ERP systems (Dynamics NAV) to take payments, record them accurately, and update customer records in real time. You will become a systems expert on this.
  • Scan, upload, and file documents in Tracks, ensuring all customer and financial records (including sales orders) are stored correctly and easy to retrieve.
  • Triage queries by acting as the first point of contact, resolving straightforward issues and escalating complex queries to the relevant team via MS Outlook.
  • First point of contact by managing incoming calls by handling requests such as delivery bookings, ensuring queries outside scope are redirected and escalated to the correct department. 
  • Generate sales order documentation by printing forms, obtaining customer signatures, and filing signed copies appropriately.
  • Confirm delivery completion by collecting customer sign-off once goods have been delivered and updating records accordingly.

  • High standard of IT skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and good ability of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Excellent organisational skills and timekeeping.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude to work.
  • Ability to communicate successfully and work effectively with other team members.

Salary: £16,575 – £19,851 per annum

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday - 1 in every 5 weeks one day at the weekend.
