Site Engineer

Peace Recruitment are currently seeking a Freelance Site Engineer to our clients team for a 12-month project based in Fife. The selected candidate will work with a respected civils contrators on their flagship project.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data for project planning and execution.
• Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Monitoring and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve technical issues.
• Providing technical guidance and support to site operatives and junior engineers.
• Ensuring health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification (desirable)
