Position: Contracts Manager

Position Summary and Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the management of several sites, ensuring seamless communication between all departments and sites. The focus is on achieving targets in health and safety, quality, program, and cost.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Pre-construction planning and commercial strategy
- Overseeing and driving delivery on both existing and new sites
- Devising construction programs
- Assisting with appointing subcontractors
- Liaising with clients, technical teams, and the commercial team
- Managing the construction team
- Ensuring appropriate Health and Safety Management across all sites
- Reporting to the Construction Director
Key Success Factors/Preferred Experience:
- Experience delivering across multiple sites
- Excellent communicator and team leader
- Strong assertive skills for managing cost and targets with onsite labor force
- Strong people management skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction and civil engineering and relevant legislative requirements
- Track record within housing and construction
- Knowledge of subcontractors, building regulations, and construction methods
- Ownership of project delivery and commercial performance
- Setting standards and leading by example
- Commitment to continuous improvements
- Ability to communicate with staff and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong commercial acumen and operational knowledge
Qualifications:
- SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS
- HND/Degree/SVQ or relevant industry qualification
- Several years of experience in a similar role
