Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

- Clear training to become "Engineering Surveyor"

- Must have HNC or above

- £40k - £43k basic & overtime, £4,250 car allowance / car, 12% pension, 25 day holiday, bonus, world class training, for a "UK Top employer"

The opportunity:

Mechanical Engineers are ace. With an in depth knowledge of all things mechanical and being able to fix anything, these are the true heroes of the engineering world.

But there comes a time where you may be looking to "come off the tools" and use all that knowledge to move in to a slightly different career focus, that of a "surveyor". You've seen these people around - the ones that test and inspect different lifting equipment and make sure everything is working correctly.

On that basis, we are looking to recruit a mechanical professional with lifting equipment experience to forge a long term career for a world leading organisation. A company who invest 10's of thousands in to your development in the first year alone, where you manage your own diary with a view to a long term career with constant training and further opportunities.

And WOW, what a package! You will easily clear £52k with overtime & car allowance as well as 12% pension, 25 day holiday, bonus & genuine world class training. And this is just the start…

The person:

We're open to the person here, but we are looking for a HNC level educated professional with experience of maintaining and servicing lifting equipment & cranes (so MEWPs, excavators, lifting tackle, HIABs, powered access etc.)

Most important we want you to want to learn new skills and use your mechanical knowledge to develop a further knowledge in what is very much a career focused role. A role where there will be thousands invested in you, so someone who understands that for the unique opportunity that it is.

Any inspection knowledge or background & LOLER & PUWER would be marvellous too!

The role:

As alluded to, this will take your hands on mechanical knowledge and teach you new skills around more testing and inspection of pressure systems.

Anywhere there are lifting equipment, we will be inspecting them. So the likes of marine, agriculture, manufacturing, power plants, airports… You get the picture! You will manage your own diary and go to different sites, making sure the equipment is safe within.

We don't expect you to hit the ground running, training can be anything up to 6 months so a real chance to form new skills in a world renowned company.

The company:

This is working for a certified UK top employer who have a world class reputation for training and developing their staff. A company where there will be huge opportunities and there are countless examples of senior people in the company starting off on this kind of a role.

What's not to like?!

What next?

If this seems like an opportunity that appeals to you, simply hit apply and we can run through in more detail. Look forward to hearing your story…
