My Client based in the top of the Scottish Borders is looking to hire a Agricultural Engineer.

They are one of UK's largest grower and processer of fresh vegetables.

Within the role you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs to all farm machinery. Fabricating and re-designing machinery to suit the business’s requirements.

My Client is looking for an engineer with 2+ years experience working on farm machinery. Alternatively someone with experience in a plant fitting role or heavy machinery could also be relevant. 

Job Duties:

  • Ensuring planned preventative maintenance is carried out on time and recorded
  • Ensuring all unplanned stoppages are repaired safely and quickly to minimise downtime
  • Undertaking continuous improvement activates
  • Ensuring that all QA ,H&S and company procedures are followed
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  • Assist in the training and development of apprentices.
