Do you have demonstrable experience of managing an events team within a commercial training business?

Do you have a “customer centric” mindset with demonstrable evidence of improving customer experience?

Have you worked with a software system to include Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Learning Management System (LMS) to manage efficient and effective training course delivery?

Do you have experience of managing costs efficiently?

About the role...

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Events (Course) Manager to join our organisation. As part of the training team, you’ll lead and manage a training events team, ensuring the effective operational delivery of all public, virtual, and in-company training events and associated exams.

You will deliver the best customer experience and contribute to achieving training revenue and profit goals.

With line management and budget responsibilities, you will play a key role for the training events teams, located in Chesterfield and Warwick House, including hybrid workers.



In this role, you will...

  • Manage course allocation and team duties to ensure efficient delivery of training courses and exams.
  • Champion Salesforce best practices and identify improvements for better delivery.
  • Create reports to manage team performance and support improvement decisions.
  • Support a digital-first model, collaborating with other teams to transition our working methods.
  • Work with our Technology and Marketing teams on customer onboarding and feedback analysis.
  • Collaborate with Resource Planning and Product Development to introduce new courses and locations.
  • Work with the Health, Safety and Environment Team to ensure relevant processes are in place to distribute relevant material required e.g. RIGS.
  • Ensure we administer the relevant requirements to maintain AO status and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiencies.
  • Oversee accurate recording of revenue and costs for all events and exams.

More information on the hybrid working model, can be discussed with the hiring manager.
