Jackson Hogg is proud to be exclusively partnered with a growing organisation on the appointment of a Category Manager to join a well-established and closely-knit team.

What is the role?

Working within a category-management led environment, this role will specialise in managing the procurement requirements within the Capital category. Working with a high number of exisiting and new stakeholders internally and externally, this rolewill be tasked with fostering relationships and collborative partnerships, shaping strategic category and sourcing strategies whilst driving best procurement practice in terms of following key legislation, public procurement processes and frameworks.

Desired Experience / Skills

• Previous expeirence working within a category-led procurement position
• Strong knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations, Frameworks and processes
• Knowledge of Capital / CAPEX as a category
• Experience of complex contract management and tendering
• Strong awareness and knowledge of NEC forms of contracts, the associated benefits and jargon
• Excellent communication skills in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
• Self-starter and can-do attitude with the ability to work off own initiaive
