Teaching Assistant

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in County Durham to assist them to find a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support them from May 2024.

The role will be supporting a Year 5 class, will involve working full time, 5 days per week (8.30am - 3.30pm) and ongoing until July 2024.

Responsibilities

Supporting Year 5 pupils with Literacy and Numeracy
Working independently with small groups of children and some one to one
To use own initiative and take the lead

Requirements

Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
Level 2 Qualification
Provide 2 references, preferably from an educational background
To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
