Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Project Manager for a regional housing contractor, to deliver refurbishment schemes on behalf of various Social Housing providers.
Main duties will include:
- Promote positive Health & Safety for all.
- Oversee day to day operational duties of the a small number of projects.
- Manage site activities on a day to day basis, including supervising labour, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control
- Ensure on-site safety through risk assessment and risk management.
- Liaise with buyers for material procurement and effective buying opportunities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships and ensure clear and regular communication with key contacts, both internal and external customers, reporting progress on projects
- Liaise with residents and C.E.C.
To be considered, applicants must have:
- Hold Health & Safety in the highest regard.
- Experience of working within a Site Manager role or similar, gained within the social house industry.
- Be able to motivate and manage a successful site team.
- Possess excellent communication skills, a logical and systematic approach and will by driven by your own high standards and objectives.
- Relevant background in either a trade or University background.
- Holda CSCS Site Manager card and a relevant qualification in Construction
