Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Brook Street Social Care is excited to collaborate with a pioneering Children's Residential organization dedicated to offering tailored support to children in a nurturing residential setting.

As the Registered Manager, you'll lead the opening of a brand-new, charming 2-bed home in County Durham, providing therapeutic care to children with backgrounds in Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). Your role is pivotal in ensuring the home's management surpasses the Quality Standards for Children's Homes, achieving consistent 'good' and 'outstanding' Ofsted ratings.

While prior experience as an Ofsted Registered Children's Manager is preferred, we welcome applications from high-performing Deputy Managers ready to step up. Your existing managerial prowess, exceptional communication, organizational skills, and grasp of Ofsted regulations and current legislation are crucial.

Though you'll enjoy autonomy in managing the home, you'll have the backing of a robust support network, including a highly experienced local authority social worker, education manager, therapist, and external supervision.

Ideal candidates will boast a minimum of 4 years' experience in children's residential settings, with at least 2 years at a management level. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management) or equivalent is mandatory. Exceptional Deputy Managers will also be considered for this role.
