Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND TA to work in a local primary school in Withywood on a full-time basis starting as soon possible.

The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience of working with primary school aged children

• Support pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

• Be able to engage pupils with learning activities

• Have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils

• Be able to manage behaviour effectively

The local primary school in Withywood boasts modern facilities, outside space and a well-established, dedicated team of staff. The school is seeking a SEND TA who is proactive, reliable and who adapts their approach to support the needs of children. The school takes pride in their supportive environment for both staff and students, which is evident through their ethos and values.

To be considered for the role of SEND TA you will:

• Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Have caring and nurturing qualities
• Be a motivated, dedicated and resilient person
• Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• to have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
