Lloyd Recruitment Services have teamed up with a well-established company in East Grinstead who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis!

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of managing day-to-day account transactions for a range of clients. As the Accounts Assistant, you will have exceptional organisational skills, proactive mindset, and keen attention to detail.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Process and maintain purchase and sales ledgers
  • Handle supplier and customer payments efficiently
  • Bank account reconciliation
  • Make timely submissions to HMRC for VAT and PAYE/NI, as well as to Companies House for confirmation statements
  • Provide up-to-date and insightful management/account reports
  • Liaise seamlessly with clients' accountants for year-end submissions
  • Providing payroll support as required
  • Familiarity with key accounts, and SAGE payroll is advantageous but not essential
