** Exciting Opportunity for a Business Development Manager **

Are you a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager looking to join a fantastic team in the logistics sector. Please read on for further details of an exciting role where responsibility will be identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships and achieving revenue targets. Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you will be able to execute the sales strategy and foster strong client relationships. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Serve as the first point of contact in the initial stages of client conversion, taking ownership until the account is handed over to the implementation team.
  • Methodically seek new business through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Maximize sales opportunities identified by both you and the company.
  • Negotiate with clients to secure favourable terms and agreements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate the company’s value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Stay informed on the competitor landscape to refine the company’s offerings.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and accurately administer all activities.
  • Ensure client implementations are delivered on time and to specification in partnership with relevant teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales and business development, preferably in the logistics sector.
  • Knowledge of Fashion, Beauty, and Wellbeing industries is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver personal sales growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems like Hubspot.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A valid driving licence and the ability to travel in the UK and Europe as needed.
