We are delighted to be working alongside our fast growing, award winning and very successful client as they seek to recruit an additional Business Development Manager to join their friendly and experienced team. This role is available due to continuing strong business levels and ongoing company growth.

Business Development Manager

Full time permanent role

Mon - Fri standard office hours - 40 hours per week.

East Grinstead based - Plenty of free parking on site for staff. Around 25 minute walk from nearest mainline station. Buses are available from nearest station to office location.

Salary: £35000 - £45000 plus excellent levels of commission plus exceptionally good staff benefits, along with social events and annual staff party.

The role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. In this role, you will be pivotal in executing the sales strategy, meeting sales targets, and building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:• Developing all sales opportunities identified by both you and the company• Ensuring a personal front line sales presence and being the first point of contact in initial stages of conversion• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to understand their requirements• Actively participating in all marketing initiatives including direct mailings and exhibitions• Partnering with colleagues and 3rd parties to ensure implementation is delivered on time and to specification• Maintaining accurate records in the company CRM system• Providing regular updates on sales metrics, achievements and challenges and recommending improvements

Skills, experience and competencies required:

  • Business Development and Sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales targets

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills• Strong attention to detail and excellent presentation skills• Ability to inspire confidence in all internal and external stakeholders• Driving licence and the ability to travel in UK and Europe as required
