A highly respected law firm with offices in Eastbourne are seeking a Care of the Elderly Executive to join their successful Private Client team. The team are highly experienced and full training will be provided to the successful candidate. This firm are well known for their low staff turn over, high quality work and career opportunities.

The successful Care of the Elderly Executive will be responsible for their own case load (under supervision of a highly experienced Solicitor), which will include:

  • Maintaining client accounts/financial administration - including reconciliation of payments
  • Communication with vulnerable and elderly clients along with other interested parties (including care/nursing home staff, family members etc.)
  • Ensuring regular payments are made as necessary (e.g. care/nursing home fees, insurance, household issues etc.)
  • Tax administration
  • Overseeing investments

The successful Care of the Elderly Executive will also regularly visit clients in their homes/nursing homes etc., in order to build relationships and ensure adequate care is provided.

The successful Care of the Elderly Executive will offer the following background/skill set:

  • Have experience of dealing with elderly and/or vulnerable individuals
  • Be numerate and highly organised
  • Be able to manage your own workload through effective prioritisation of tasks/duties
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent administrative skills
  • Have solid IT skills
  • Demonstrate clear, professional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Be well presented
  • Have a commercial awareness
  • Have a driving license and own vehicle

This role would suit a caring and empathetic individual who can communicate at all levels, whilst managing a busy and varied case load within an office environment. You will be excellent at building and maintaining long-term professional relationships.
