Role;

An immediate position has come to fruition with one of our newer contractor clients.

They are a fast-paced commercial fit out contractor based near Chandlers Ford having a long term trading history and a full order book well into 2023.

Clients vary from a number of diversified blue-chip companies predominately working in the South of England/London.

Projects vary from electrical work basically ranging from commercial office refurbishments to data centres to food retail contracts. 

Ideally you will come from an electrical background to oversee the electrical element on multiple work sites running simultaneously.

Duties;

  • Ensure that each project is properly planned so that materials and resources are available.
  • Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and establish the requirements of a project and requisition and necessary installation materials and ensure compliance and test systems.
  • Assist with H&S Preparation and implementation.
  • Accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs and if required, supervise other operatives as well as liaising with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers when necessary.
  • Manage own workload, and that of the teams and sub-contractors to ensure that client commitments are met in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work weekends/Out of hours if and when required (at time and a half).
  • Manage the Commissioning and Test Electrical Systems & equipment & issue relevant certification.

You;

  • Completed a registered apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Trained to 18th Edition
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • SMSTS or SSSTS training
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • 5 years Experience in a similar Role
  • Hard working and willingness to travel
  • Excellent Communication Skills
