Mechanical Estimator - Facilities Management - Eastleigh - Up to £65,000 plus car allowance plus excellent benefits.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK at one of their prestigious clients' sites based in Eastleigh who are experiencing significant growth. An outstanding opportunity to become part of truly first-rate facilities.

(Hybrid Role) Eastleigh or Bristol, however, must be able to attend team meetings in Eastleigh.

Salary: Up to £65,000 plus car allowance plus excellent benefits

Location: Eastleigh

Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate mechanical estimates for a range of projects within the portfolio.
  • Prepare and compilation of proposal submissions including solution and option appraisal of new methods of Project delivery to identify valid and viable commercial delivery options.
  • Obtaining specialist subcontractor costs.
  • Attend site visits as required across the UK as part of the bid process.
  • Update Pipeline Reporting System and to contribute to the generation of BD Management information reports.
  • Attend Divisional Bid Meetings, Progressing submitted tenders.
  • Assist in formulation of tender returns.
  • Measurement of performance versus contracted requirements.
  • Identification of a broad range of cost saving initiatives in line with contractual obligations.

The successful candidate:

  • Educated to HNC/HND Standard (or equivalent).
  • Ideally have experience in Data Centre projects
  • Excellent management experience.
  • Relevant experience of estimating within a Building services contractor
  • Proficient IT Skills to include, Word, Powerpoint and EXCEL.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
