Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Accountant to join our small but dynamic accounts team. This position offers a comprehensive experience in finance administration, including handling sales ledgers, purchase ledgers, and general bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing sales invoices on Xero finance system.
- Managing purchase invoices for processing and payments.
- Conducting bank reconciliations for various accounts.
- Maintaining and updating client credit and Experian databases.
- Providing weekly sales reports and analysis.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and preparing quarterly VAT returns.
