The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing TIG welding operations to a high standard, ensuring precision and accuracy down to 1mm in tolerance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing manufacturer, utilising your expertise in TIG welding and contributing to the production of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding operations on various materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy, achieving welding tolerances down to 1mm.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure correct welding procedures and techniques are followed.
Conduct visual inspections of welds to identify and rectify any defects or imperfections.
Work closely with the production team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes and techniques.
Flexibility to work across a 3-shift rotation including mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Key Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a TIG Welder, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Ability to perform TIG welding to a high standard with precision and accuracy.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Flexibility to work across a 3-shift rotation including mornings, afternoons, and nights.
