BOOKKEEPER

Our client are a fast growing established Accountancy firm and as such are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to provide accurate services to a diverse range of clients

Knowledge & Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (desired)
AAT Qualified (desired)
Previous professional practice experience
Solid understanding of accounting software
Good knowledge of Xero
Proficient experience with Sage Line 50
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good knowledge of VAT law and compliance
Knowledge of CaseWare

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage bookkeeping services in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure all client work is completed within workschedule deadlines
Record clients’ financial transactions
Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners
Complete VAT returns and file VAT returns online
Manage profit and loss statements and balance sheets
File historical records and retrieve necessary documents as needed
Record cash receipts and handling bank deposits
Ensure client assignments are completed in line with all relevant accounting and accounting standards
