Our client possesses a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects fit for the modern and ever-changing world and at present they have an opportunity for an ambitious Senior Civil Engineer to join their lovely Edinburgh office that is currently working on a mixture of large (90M) high schools, residential works, mixed used facilities, and hotels.

A true multidisciplinary consultancy that has expanded to have around 300 staff members across several offices and disciplines throughout the UK.

As a result, they have a strong presence throughout the country, and this attracts a wide range of clients and ensure that they have a diverse and healthy project pipeline.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the engineering design of projects across multiple sectors that include the following, healthcare, and leisure, residential, conservation and refurbishment, education, landscaping, industrial and commercial, breweries and hotels to highlight a few.

THE SUCCESSFUL CIVIL ENGINEER WILL HAVE

  • Chartered or nearing Chartership/ equivalent.
  • Experience using Civils3D and undertaking drainage SuDS designs using Causeway Flow (or equivalent).
  • Ability to produce Flow Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy reports for planning.
  • Roads and Drainage design experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
