Overview:

Search Recruitment are partnering with a growing business to recruit a Credit Controller in Edinburgh on a full-time, permanent basis. If you're an excellent communicator with experience in accounts, credit control and proficiency in Excel, you would be encouraged to apply.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create and ensure timely payment of sales invoices and resolve queries.
  • Communicate and build relationships with customers over the phone and electronically.
  • Update ledger, record transactions, prepare reports and perform data entry.
  • Conduct credit checks and set up accounts accordingly.
  • Process card payments from customers and update the cash collection sheet.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on various account-related matters.
  • Ad hoc finance and administrative tasks.

Skills and experience you'll ideally have:

  • Experience in credit control.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Prior experience in an accounts role is desirable.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and have good attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable communication skills.
