Assistant Property Manager (Facilities) - P/T 24 hours per week

Salary: £14,373 + great company benefits

Location: Edinburgh

Hours: Mon-Fri (P/T 24 hours) over 4 days

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular property inspections and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting in ensuring buildings are safe, accessible, and well-serviced.
  • Collaborating with contractors and managing maintenance tasks.
  • Serving as a main point of contact for tenant queries and fostering excellent tenant relations.
  • Performing minor repairs and upkeep tasks.
  • Managing inventory and procurement of supplies.
  • Contributing to meetings and suggesting improvements for service delivery.
  • Carrying out some cleaning and porter duties.
  • Ensuring waste and recycling are managed efficiently within the centres.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experienced in a similar role, with a background in property maintenance.
  • Trustworthy and able to build strong relationships with tenants and colleagues.
  • Skilled in multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving.
  • Comfortable working independently and under pressure.
  • Committed to providing exceptional service and supporting our social and environmental goals.
  • A good communicator, both verbally and in writing, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible and willing to work occasional hours outside the standard schedule.
