Financial Planning Director Edinburgh

As a Financial Planning Director, you'll be at the forefront of empowering clients to achieve their financial goals through strategic planning and insightful advice. This role demands a financial planning professional with a deep understanding of financial markets, a knack for holistic financial planning, and the ability to forge lasting client relationships with High Net Worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Financial Planning by conducting thorough financial assessments to understand clients' current financial positions.
  • Develop and implement personalised, holistic financial plans addressing investment, retirement, tax, estate, and insurance considerations.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Nurture and expand client relationships through effective communication and tailored financial guidance.
  • Provide ongoing support and regular updates to ensure alignment with clients' evolving needs.
  • Market Analysis and Investment Strategy:
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes.
  • Formulate and execute investment strategies in line with clients' risk tolerance and financial objectives.

Risk Management:

  • Evaluate clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage to mitigate financial risks.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances.

Tax Planning:

  • Work closely with clients to optimise tax strategies and minimise liabilities.
  • Stay informed about tax code changes and their potential impact on clients' financial plans.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and estate planning, to provide comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Share insights and best practices to contribute to the collective expertise of the organisation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree ideally in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum Level 4 CII, CISI or LIBF qualification but preference for level 6
  • Proven experience as a Financial Planner with a focus working with HNW & UHNW clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
