Based in Edinburgh (Hybrid Working) 

£12.50 - £14.50 per hour + holiday pay 

Reed Business Support are pleased to be working with an Edinburgh-based charity on a temporary Administrator position with an immediate start. The role is expected to last between 2-3 months and will require the successful candidate to provide admin support to ongoing projects and the wider Governance Team. 

This promises to be a varied role where the successful candidate will be contributing to an organisation with a positive social value. 

  • 35 hours per week (Mon - Fri | 9am - 5pm) 
  • Immediate start 
  • Hybrid Working

Key responsibilities: 

  • Providing administrative support to the Governance Team and two ongoing projects 
  • Supporting with the introduction with a new HR system including checking employee files and inputting data into new system 
  • Setting up folder and files onto Teams / Sharepoint 
  • Answering incoming calls 
  • Providing support for meeting preparation including collating documents, creating agendas, and sending invites to attendees
  • Typing information onto documents and systems 
  • Note taking during monthly Governance meetings 
  • Ad hoc admin duties as required 

Person specifications: 

  • Previous experience working in a general Administrative role - this is essential 
  • Previous experience on and ability to operate Teams and/or Sharepoint 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Flexibility and able to manage a varied workload

Desirable: 

  • Previous experience working in the Charity sector 
  • Minute taking experience
