Power Platform Solutions Developer - 12 Months - Outside IR35 Loriens leading Public Sector client is looking to bring on an experienced Power Platform Solutions Developer on an initial 12 month contract. Key Responsibilities

Application Development:

    • Design and Build: Create custom business applications using Power Apps, including canvas apps and model-driven apps.
    • Customisation: Customise standard Power Apps to meet specific business requirements.
    • Integration: Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams), Azure services, and third-party systems.

Collaboration and Requirement Gathering:

    • Requirement Analysis: Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements.
    • Solution Design: Design scalable and efficient solutions that address business needs.

Implementation and Testing:

    • Implementation: Implement the designed solutions, ensuring they are robust and efficient.
    • Testing: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the applications function correctly and meet specified requirements.

Maintenance and Support:

    • Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to existing Power Apps applications.
    • Support: Offer technical support and troubleshooting for users experiencing issues with Power Apps applications.

Documentation and Training:

    • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications and customisations.
    • Training: Provide training and support to end-users and other developers on using and maintaining Power Apps solutions.

Key Skills and QualificationsTechnical Skills:

    • Power Apps: Proficiency in developing applications using Power Apps (both canvas and model-driven apps).
    • Power Automate: Experience with Power Automate for creating automated workflows.
    • Power BI: Basic understanding of Power BI for integrating and visualising data.
    • Common Data Service (CDS)/Dataverse: Knowledge of Dataverse for data management.
    • Programming Languages: Familiarity with languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and familiarity with .NET and react is beneficial.
    • Web Technologies: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

    • Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to debug and resolve issues.

Soft Skills:

    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
    • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and technologies.

Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):

    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
