Marketing Executive

Reed Business Support are currently working with an exciting and continually growing Edinburgh based business that are on the hunt for a Marketing Executive to join their in-house Marketing team.

Salary- £28,000-£30,000

Location- Edinburgh (west)

Working pattern- Full time (hybrid)

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive is responsible for delivering on  all parts of the marketing mix for 2 of the organisations core brands to drive growth, revenue and share of wallet.

Working as an integral part of the marketing team, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for owning key elements of marketing collateral and aiding the development and delivery of marketing campaigns.

Advantageous skills

  • Previous experience working in B2B Marketing
  • A knowledge of the Financial Services landscape
  • Previous experience in Account Based Marketing (ABM).
  • Previous experience using HubSpot

Key Tasks

  1. Assisting the Senior Marketing Manager in developing a comprehensive, cohesive and branded social media presence for the company, including development of new content (images, video, text) in line with PR, marketing and events, that encourages engagement with target audiences.
  2. Assisting the Senior Marketing Manager in creative copy writing for social media, websites, emailers, and offline material (brochures, event stands etc).
  3. Creation, build, maintenance and analysis of customer journeys, working with HubSpot to maintain nurture sequences
  4. Creation of graphic and video content using Canva and other tools as appropriate.
  5. Collaborating with all colleagues, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to help manage, gather and produce online content.
  6. Assisting the Senior Marketing Manager in scheduling, monitoring, and reporting (through analytics) of multiple online channels and media – including monitoring influencers, SEO, PPC and other online content.
  7. Working with HubSpot, Excel, CRM systems and LinkedIn Ads Manager to run appropriate and relevant promotions, including management of data segmentation.
  8. Assisting the Senior Marketing Manager in website management with a Content Management System (Craft CMS) where appropriate.
  9. Budget management, including tracking, reporting, raising and obtaining sign off on POs and forecasting of spend.
  10. Assisting the Senior Marketing Manager in end-to-end event planning. Delivering, and attending internal/external meetings and events where necessary (UK). Liaising with external event planners and booking couriers to ship event material.
  11. Supporting the Sales & Marketing Team to win new customers and grow the business.
  12. Working with key suppliers to ensure delivery of assets, negotiating costs, and managing to timescales.
