Retail Supervisor

Overview:

Our client is a successful surface treatment production and distribution organisation. This is a great opportunity for a retail assistant or retail supervisor to step up and take on leadership duties in a new store in Edinburgh. The successful applicant will have experience in the trades distribution or retail DIY store industry.

Benefits and pay range:

• £30,000 per annum, Full time, permanent position
• Monday - Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• Benefits package available

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage store operations: in-store orders, including quick delivery, head-office requests, assist with last mile delivery tasks and inspire exceptional customer service
• Maintain store and machine standards including profit & loss, stock and customer accounts
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
• Work with team to achieve KPIs and sales targets

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar position and industry
• Experience in retail supervision/management
• Computer and numerical literacy
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work calmly at busy times
