As the new Security Officer, you will work 40 hours a week across our opening hours.Typical shift patterns are 7.45am – 4.45pm, 9.45am – 7.15pm and 2pm – 1130pm.Salary for this role is £12.44 per hour, plus great benefits!

Skills and Experience Needed

  • SIA Licence - Door Supervisor

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High level of customer service

  • Flexibility to cover a vary of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • Building working relationships

About the role…

  • To assist in upholding the Company’s policies and procedures in all security related matters and to report any breaches of Company policy.

  • To be confident in following the Company’s emergency procedures.

  • To provide a fair and consistent level of enforcement of all policies and procedures and to represent the Company in a professional manner, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.

  • To identify and advise on any possible stock loss risks or best practice in loss prevention.

  • Having full knowledge in ASCONE and requirement set out by the Procurator Fiscal

  • To detect persons responsible for stealing Company property, cash and/or merchandise, and following Company policy and procedures in the conviction of individuals.

  • To conduct regular and random searches of employee and contractors’ possessions, within the Company’s policies.

  • To always maintain a high standard of personal professionalism.

  • Maintain a safe working environment for staff, customers and visitors to the store.
