Denholm are delighted to be working with a multi-award-winning creative and digital agency, that specialise in the travel and tourism sector.Working with some of the world's best and most prestigious brands, luxury hotels and resorts, this agency is a leader in their field and on the lookout for a seasoned pair of UX Designer hands to join their busy team. In this exciting role, as Senior UX Designer you'll be pivotal in consulting with clients to define the approach, look and feel of website projects, to deliver world-class sites and products that expedites the user experience and performance. What you'll be doingThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the coolest sectors, and with great people, products and clients as part of your day-to-day. Working with creativity to find bespoke solutions within tried and tested methodologies and templates, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Devise and plan UX strategies that enhance the user's digital experience.
  • Regularly (and confidently) liaise with clients around project needs, briefs and progress reports, consulting with relevant advice and best practices along the way.
  • Execute the UX strategy via site plans, maps and wireframes.
  • Present and rationalise UX strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Field UX questions and recommend appropriate actions to deliver results.
  • Understand and execute on client brand and marketing strategies, business and commercial objectives.
  • Apply and champion UX best practice with clients and within the agency.
  • Deliver UX strategies within budget and on time.
  • Work with colleagues to develop the agencies website product and processes.

Who we're looking for

  • At least 2-3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UX Design software.
  • Very good, current understanding of the web development life cycle.
  • Good experience of CMS capabilities and parameters, and SEO requirements.
  • Good experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript.
  • Working knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Trello, etc.
  • Great communication, written and verbal.
  • Analytical and logical with problem solving.
  • Collaborative mindset, a friendly team player.
  • Confident in presenting ideas and rationale.
  • Organised and methodical.
