In this role, you will manage our organisation's security infrastructure, conduct vulnerability assessments, and develop cyber incident response plans. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and stay current with cybersecurity developments. This role offers a great opportunity to work with cybersecurity technologies in a collaborative team environment.

What you'll be doing

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, your responsibility is to lead investigations and provide technical expertise for all cybersecurity incidents. Additionally, you will offer an escalation path, support the development of team members, and provide coaching and training when necessary.

This role will include leading various projects that will positively impact the company, working with cross-functional teams to identify security risks, and developing mitigation strategies. Your technical expertise will be invaluable in implementing security controls and protocols across the organisation.

You will be involved in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure that they meet our security requirements.

Your job entails working closely with the IT Infrastructure team, Applications Teams, and IT Helpdesk to ensure the provision and support of security for all IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and communications equipment. Your contribution to keeping our systems safe and secure is essential. You will also work with the IT Leadership Team to establish security policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and regulations.

Please note that this role requires you to be available to support the business outside of regular business hours. Although primarily based in Acorn House, Highbridge, you will be required to travel to our other sites in Somerset and Devon.
