School: Single-Form Entry Mainstream Primary School

Location: Egremont

Start Date: Monday 3rd June 2024 until Friday 19th July 2024

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

Position Overview:

Veritas Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join a supportive teaching team. An excellent opportunity for an experienced educator with a strong background of teaching KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons using evidence-based programs
  • Incorporate a variety of multisensory activities and resources to support acquisition and develop academic skills.
  • Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for development.
  • Assess student progress through ongoing observation, formative assessment, and periodic assessments, providing targeted support and intervention as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to the school's initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or relevant subject area, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting, with a strong understanding of principles, progression, and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to practice.
