The Automotive Maintenance division of Questech currently have an exciting new position, located near Elland for an Auto Electrician to join the team.

We are looking for an Automotive Electrician to join our client in Elland.

The role will be to join the team of Engineers and maintenance staff repairing a fleet of vehicles.

THE ROLE:

Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
Carry out vehicle servicing.
Repair of vehicle electrical systems including engine management, automatic/semi-automatic gearboxes, electronic braking, suspension, electronic destinations, multiplex wiring systems and E.C.U.
Be fully familiar with all relevant diagnostic equipment and diagnostic computer equipment.

THE HOURS:

There are a variety of shifts available days, lates and nights

THE RATE OF PAY:

The pay rate is 18.00 - 21.00 per hour dependant on experience + benefits including ongoing training and excellent pension scheme.

Training and Qualifications:

You should ideally be qualified to one of the following levels:

City and Guilds
NVQ level 3
