Energy Pricing Analyst

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of energy procurement and pricing, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.

The Key Responsibilities of the Energy Pricing Analyst:
* Manage fixed and flexible energy procurement for clients.
* Create and submit tenders to utility suppliers.
* Collate half-hourly and daily metered data to support tendering and usage analysis.
* Produce pricing analysis and input matrix/bespoke pricing for sales teams ahead of client meetings.
* Process signed contracts and confirm acceptance with suppliers.
* Handle objections to energy transfers by liaising with suppliers and clients.
* Maintain accurate records in the energy database, including renewals, objections, and live dates.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with energy suppliers to understand their products and services.
* Attend supplier and client meetings/events.
* Provide regular market intelligence and stay up to date with energy market trends and terminology.
* Participate in ongoing training, development, and performance reviews.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
* Promote a culture of fairness, openness, and honesty in all customer interactions.
* Comply with health, safety, environmental, and legal requirements relevant to the role.
