Page Personnel are currently partnering with a global manufacturing and production business, based near Ellesmere Port, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including high volume invoice processing, reconciliations, and preparing payment runs.

Description
The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for:
- Matching, batching, and coding high volumes of invoices
- Daily statement reconciliations
- Preparing payment runs
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers
- Resolving supplier queries, escalating when necessary
- Work collaboratively with the wider Accounting & Finance team.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations in all duties.
Profile
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
- A proven track record within a similar role
- AAT L2 or above (desirable)
- Thorough knowledge of accounts payable processes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
