Astute's EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit 4x General Operatives on a 6 months contract basis for their Energy from Waste plant in Ellesmere Port
The General Operative positions come with an hourly rate from 13.00 to 14.00.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Support the tradespeople on site by moving goods, cleaning machinery, and coordinating the works on site.
- Collecting items from the warehouse, plus preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup.
- Prepare the construction site for scaffolding and temporary works if and when required.
- Be on hand to assist to warehouse team when required for specific operative works.
- Must hold a valid CSCS card
- Desirable - Banksman qualification
- Have experience working within the Power Industry as a General Operative.
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the General Operative roles:
- Ellesmere Port
- 13.00 to 14.00 per hour (Inside IR35)
- Start date - May 2024
